Pic Collage is one of the more popular options out there, with millions of downloads under its belt. The app looks great on Android, with buttons scattered about where you would expect. It’s no problem to import photos from your gallery, organize them, add borders, decorate them with stickers, add effects, and share the end result to the social network of your choice.
2. Photo Grid
Like Pic Collage, Photo Grid has also been downloaded millions of times across multiple countries all over the world. Its interface is bright and vibrant without ignoring Android’s UI guidelines. There are multiple modes to choose from that allow for different types of collages, and preset themes are available for anyone who wants to make a snazzy collage with minimal effort. Many of the options are presented as soon as you open the app, so diving in shouldn’t be a problem.
3. Pic Stitch Collage Maker
Out of the box, Pic Stitch Collage Maker is a more obnoxious option than the first two on this list. There is a license agreement to skip and a list of advertised apps to bypass. But after that’s done, this app provides perhaps the most immediately accessible list of options right from the get go. Different image grid shapes and sizes are arranged right in front of you, and all you have to do is tap one to get started. But if you want more than grids, look elsewhere. This app isn’t one for mimicking the look of a traditional physical collage.
4. KD Collage
Like Pic Stitch Collage Maker, KD Collage places grid options front and center. It can handle small collages with up to four photos or larger alternatives with up to nine. There are also larger frames that can support even higher numbers of images as well as even frames for just a single photo. A banner ad hovers consistently at the bottom of the screen in the free version, but there’s a pro option available for people who are bothered by this.
5. Collage Maker
Collage Maker doesn’t integrate as nicely with Android’s general UI as the previously mentioned options, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. If you want a more custom looking user experience, this may just be up your alley. It has ads though, so keep that in mind. Otherwise, you know what to expect by now. Select pictures from your gallery and have fun.
